The Coalition of Greater Scottsdale held a city council candidate forum last night at Scottsdale’s Granite Reef Senior Center. The candidates continue to evolve as they jockey for votes. I’ll publish more when I have a moment.
The evolution will continue tonight at the Via Linda Senior Center, 10440 Via Linda Drive (south of Shea on 104th) at 6:30 p.m.
All candidates will have information tables around the perimeter of the room to meet and chat with you personally. At your seat you will find 3 X 5 cards on which to write your questions. You may address all or a particular candidate with your question. They will be collected and organized by topic for the moderator to ask.
The official forum begins at 7, so please be seated by then. Moderator Christopher Schaffner, member of the COGS Board of Directors will collate and read the audience questions.
The senior center will close at 8:30 p.m., so don’t worry about waterboarded all night!

This is a great opportunity for the residents to become informed. If you don’t know the issues its very hard to vote for the right person. Hoping for a big turnout tonight.
