Camel Head

While out for an early morning bike ride this morning, I had the privilege of watching the sunrise wash over the east end of Camelback Mountain. Because of the seasonal northern bias of the ecliptic (plane of the sun’s path across the sky) this time of year, the early morning light ferrets out nooks and crannies you might not notice during other seasons. This photo is shot from the north side of the west end, looking southeast.
