How much would you pay a bystander to stop the assault and kidnapping of your wife?
When Richardson saw a man dragging a woman by her hair across the parking lot toward an SUV, he took action.
While others rushed to call the cops, Richardson got out of his pickup truck and tried to stop the SUV driver from leaving with the woman.
For his efforts, the 31-year-old father of three was run over by the sleaze ball and sustained serious head injuries. A skull fracture left him hospitalized in ICU, unable to remember the confrontation and unable to hear out of one ear.
“I didn’t realize I was putting myself in danger of injury or even death,” Richardson told The Republic’s Garrett Mitchell. “But, regardless, I would not go back and change what I did.”
