Colorado River Finally Flows to Finish

An AP story from a few days ago reports that the first regular flow of Colorado River water in more than five decades has finally reached the Sea of Cortez (aka Gulf of California).

It’s outrageous that we in the US have strangled this beautiful waterway in the name of urban development and our own agriculture, at the expense of what was once a vibrant river delta. And here in Phoenix, when did you last hear any serious discussion about water conservation?
