The Gift of Golf

KPHO CBS Channel 5 just did the first real story on Scottsdale’s $15 million (or $20 million depending on who you ask) gift of forgiven lease obligations for the TPC Scottsdale Golf Course.

Now the taxpayers are going to pick up the bill for course maintenance and a brand new clubhouse for a facility where they can’t even get a break on greens fees. And finally someone in the mainstream media is picking it up, thanks to Scottsdale resident Mark Stuart and his research.
