John Washington is a long-time advocate for Scottsdale residents and neighborhoods, and the proud father of a fourth-generation Scottsdale native. John has a long history of constructive engagement with the Scottsdale City Government. He strives to ensure that the Council spends our tax dollars wisely, and that they respect the rights, needs, and viewpoint of the residents. John recently commented with a smile,

“When I first got involved, I felt that the folks on City Council liked me, but didn’t necessarily respect me. After many years, they finally respect me, but they don’t necessarily like me anymore!”
