“Mr. East Valley”

Parker Leavitt reports on AZCentral that Charles Wahlheim has died. The man who coined the phrase “East Valley” was a Korean War veteran who served as a forward observer. He refused transfer to the rear, and was wounded by a mortar attack on the last day of the war.
