Did you know that the term “Mayday” comes from the French “venez m’aider” (come help me)? I didn’t either until I read this story in the Payson Roundup about US Rep. Paul Gosar (R, Prescott) lecturing on the US debt.
It’s too bad we don’t have a rep from this district (or a mayor, or a council majority) who is so concerned about Scottsdale’s municipal debt.
