I guess there probably are such things as “luxury” apartments, but I’m not sure this is it. Reminds me of a George Carlin schtick about “jumbo shrimp,” and “military intelligence.” (Yes, I am a veteran).
I’ve been meaning to take a picture of this new high-density housing project on the northwest corner of Lincoln and Scottsdale Road, but thanks to a Tweet from Rose Law Group I don’t have to get out my own camera.
The developers are calling this Broadstone on Lincoln. Note the premium construction materials: Douglas fir, i.e., lumber. No stone. Maybe it will be faux stone on the outside or something. Perhaps they’ll change the name to Sticks and Stones? Note also the reduced setback, and no apparent step back of upper floors. World class, iconic, visionary?
There is no substitute for class. I’ll bet Fred Allen could come up with a good one liner about that place.
Fellow USAF Vet,
I think that the name of STICKS & STONES MANOR has a lovely ring to it, who knows if someone suggests it to the builder they just may adopt the name, afterall if they think their buildings deserves the title of luxury units they will probably buy anything!
