Today’s photo is from Michael & Lylah Ledner’s Simple Farm blog in suburban central Scottsdale.

Here’s more about The Simple Farm from their Facebook page:
North Scottsdale’s own local suburban farm known as The Simple Farm. We use organic practices producing gourmet quality vegetables, herbs, flowers, fruit & farm house eggs for restaurants, farmers’ markets & the surrounding community.
Currently our farm is open Monday – Saturday from 7 am until 7 pm for an Honor System Market only. For details see our blog link Honor System Market. We will keep our Honor System Market and reopen a regular market sometime in October.
We sell eggs from the chickens we raise as well as fresh picked organic, gourmet quality vegetables, herbs, fruits, flowers, farmstead confections – jellies, jams and our goat milk caramel. We work with a few locals as well: we carry Crow’s Dairy (Buckeye) goat milk products – cheeses, gelato and Grade A milk, as well as breads from Grano de Vida (Chandler) made by our awesome farmstead bread maker Carol Frith.

Hi John…thanks so much for touting our farm. We’ve changed a few market things…and are NOW only open to the public on Thursday mornings from 8:30 until noon. So glad I found this – I’ve been trying to change FB and blog info to make it current.
Stop by again real soon!
Lylah – The Simple Farm
Thanks for the update, Lylah! I’ll certainly come by next time I’m up that way on a Thursday!
