Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) September 29, 2012
Thunderbird Artists will line the banks of the Scottsdale Waterfront with the finest gathering of renowned artists, fine wines and gifted musicians. They proudly feature sculptor, Bob Wilfong, and his contemporary, abstract bronze sculptures for our Waterfront Fine Art & Wine Festival, October 26, 27 & 28, 2012.
Wilfong, had an impelling force stirring within when he sculpted penguins for his wife’s collection. Prior to that time, he had never shown any artistic talent or inclination. In Wilfong’s first hometown art show, his elementary music teacher informed him that he had a “well hidden talent”. He never sketches sculptural ideas, but completely visualizes before sculpting. Wilfong feels that his creativity comes from within and that good art stimulates emotional responses in the viewer. He loves writing poetry and has something beautifully written about each statuette.
Patrons adored strolling throughout spectacular paintings, bronzes, glass, stone, copper, wood, clay sculptures, photography and jewelry, all while sipping fine wines, meeting the artists and listening to live musical entertainers. Patrons raved about the quality of the festival and thought highly of the ambiance Thunderbird Artists created at this beautiful venue. The Scottsdale Waterfront is a superb backdrop for this upscale event, providing colors and reflections that dance across the waters mirroring tents, art and attendees.
