Personally, I’m not much of a “major” sports fan. I’m more of a Tour de France and Formula 1 guy. Both sports relate to things I do on a regular basis…cycling and driving…and employ a lot more technology that appeals to my inner geek. But you can’t be in Scottsdale in the spring and not have a little appreciation for baseball.

Spring training is well underway in Scottsdale. There are a couple of weeks’ worth of games remaining. The San Francisco Giants are the “home team” at Scottsdale Municipal Stadium, but we also have the Diamondbacks at home at the new Salt River Fields Stadium on the SRPMIC, and Phoenix Municipal Stadium is the spring training home of the Oakland A’s.
Forbes Magazine recently published a “Weekend Guide to Spring Training in Scottsdale,” that you might enjoy.
And you can see the schedule of remaining games at Scottsdale Stadium on the spring training calendar.
