Buzzberry, located at the corner of McDonald & Granite Reef, offers delicious lattes, all-fruit smoothies, and a broad menu of snacks & sandwiches.
In a hurry? Visit their drive-thru. Seeking a break? Hang out inside for a while, where it feels more like a living room than a coffee shop. There’s an eclectic assortment of seating, including couches, big comfy chairs, and dining chairs & tables.
The atmosphere is cheerful, and the crew is friendly. During my mid-day visit, half the customers were greeted by name as they came in the door.
Drink options include coffee & espresso drinks, tea, chai, hot chocolate, smoothies, and their all-fruit smoothies, which you can “buzz it up” by adding a boost of whey protein, flax seed, or yogurt, among a few other options.
They boast about their cold-brewed, iced coffee, and the fact that their breads and bagels are locally baked. And their coffee is locally roasted, too.
The breakfast menu includes croissant & bagel sandwiches, steel cut oats, and my favorite: the chorizo burrito. Lunch options are primary sandwiches (roast beef, turkey, ham & swiss, blt), as well as a cup or bowl of soup. Other offerings include delicious scones, muffins, and cookies.
Earlier this week, Fox Channel 10’s Cory McCloskey dropped by Buzzberry and chatted with owner Kate Tobias.
Buzzberry offers a daily Happy Hour between 3 & 5PM: buy any cold drink and get another cold drink free. If you happen to need four smoothies in one visit, they offer “Cool Off A Crowd” discounts. They are open 5am-7pm Monday to Friday, 6am-7pm Saturday, and 7am-6pm Sunday.
Want a personal recommendation? Try the Green Citrus Mint Iced Tea (free refills!). Also, John is partial to their Frozen Mocha. Enjoy!
